☀️Summer Shipping Info:
Q: Why do you only ship on Monday and Tuesday? To protect your products from melting or getting damaged in the heat, I only ship on Monday and Tuesday for heat sensitive items during summer months. This is in hopes that the products don’t get stuck in a hot UPS truck or warehouse over the weekend. Many of my products are heat sensitive including: body butter, deodorant, lip balms, conditioner bars and so on. Handmade natural products are made with ingredients that can soften or melt in high temperatures.
Q: What steps do you take to protect my products? I do my best to package everything securely and may even pre-freeze certain items before shipping. However, once it leaves my hands, I can’t control how long it sits in transit - which is why summer shipping is extra limited.
🧼Cold Process Soap Ordering:
If out of stock, how far in advance do you think I should order my soap favors? My standard turnaround time for soap favors is 4-6 weeks. Traditional cold-process soap must “cure” before it is ready. During the curing process, water slowly evaporates from the bars allowing the soaps to harden. 4-6 weeks is the minimum amount of time required to complete your order and ensure it ships to you on time :) You're welcome to order further in advance if you prefer!
‼️Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner StorageHow should I store my soap? To ensure your handmade soaps last as long as possible, always keep them on a well-drained soap dish and allow the soap to dry between uses. Soap left in standing water or not dried between uses can become soft and will not last as long. Store unused soap in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight if possible. If you live in a very humid environment, it may be best to store your soaps or balms in an air-conditioned room.✏️Personalization:What if I make a mistake in my personalization? I will copy and paste your exact personalization message within “quotations”. Please ensure that the spelling and spacing is exactly how you want it to appear on your label. I will make no alterations to fix errors on behalf of you. 🕯️Candle Care
Q: How long should I burn my candle the first time? For the first burn, let your candle melt all the way to the edges of the candle jar (usually 2-4 hours). This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn every time.
Q: Why is trimming the wick important? Always trim your wick 1/4 inch before each burn. This helps control the flame, reduces soot, and extends life of candle.
Q: How long can I burn my candle at once? Never burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time. This prevents the jar from overheating and maintains the quality of the wax and scent.
Q: Why is my candle burning unevenly? If the wick isn’t centered or the candle wasn’t allowed to fully melt across during the first burn, it may tunnel.
